For a near 3 years at KA, I kept asking myself why I have to work... for survival? To kill time? Its a norm? I just hung on to a verse in Proverbs 3:3-4 that goes,
"Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck,write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man."
I was kept alive haha...
The routine and lack of time (to watch movies, to shop, to hang around as much as I want) just bothers me, esp when I am in peak seasons. A marketplace seminar @ BGST in 2009 was especially helpful, and it sort of broaden my prespective on work!
"I work for the glory of God, because I was made in His Image and created to work. Using my abilities to the best, I strive to do good work that contributes & add value to my company, not forgetting to be an uninterrupted channel of peace, love and joy to others around me whoever I influence. Hence, I worship as I work, and I hope to honour God by being obedient at work too."
